Birth Matters. Private Childbirth Education Classes proudly provides women and families in the New Westminster, Surrey, White Rock and Langley areas, with comprehensive childbirth education classes.
Renee Tesch is a DONA International Certified Doula, CAPPA Canada Certified
Postpartum Doula and Certified Childbirth Educator. Having these three specialties
enables Renee to offer so much more than just Doula services to her clients.
Becoming a Childbirth Educator has given her a greater understanding of
pregnancy and the birth process, as well as the importance of preparing
the mind, body and spirit through education. On a personal level she has
given birth to 4 babies, and has supported over 100 women through the process
of childbearing. In her practice she strives to support and prepare women
and their partners emotionally, intellectually and physically through the
birthing process and their transition to parenthood.
Renee feels that childbirth is a profound rite of passage, not a medical
event (even when medical care is part of the birth). It is a normal, natural
healthy process and one of the most empowering and life-changing events
in a woman’s lifetime. Women and babies have the inherent wisdom necessary
for birth. She also believes that a woman is more likely to have the birth
that she desires if she is fully informed and well supported. Through her
Childbirth Preparation classes she encourages and inspires women to trust...
trust their bodies, trust their instincts, and most importantly, trust BIRTH.
